Since 1991 Breakaway Restaurant Solutions, formerly Breakaway International, has been designing and selling its own point-of-sale and enterprise solutions, which were originally developed for the pizza delivery market. Breakaway now services delivery as well as fast casual and quick service market segments. There are now 1000’s of software installs around the world utilizing our custom point of sale solutions.
Our History
Breakaway’s original Relief Manager Plus DOS product was created out of necessity by the company’s original founder who worked as a manager at a Domino’s Pizza. Breakaway would go on to create its windows based product named Vision. In October 2000, Domino's Pizza of Ann Arbor, MI, selected the Breakaway Vision application over 62 other competing companies to form the foundation of their Next Generation Store System initiative. The customized version of the Breakaway Vision application is now known as Domino's Pulse.
